What am i doing here?
Trying to cram in notes for all the stuff am learning in my design thinking course.
This would be an quick reminder and also future exploration.
Note: Ideo’s (or maybe dschools) double diamond approach -> expand, then focus, expand and focus leading to solutions.

Stages of Design Thinking

  1. CLARIFY - Clarifying an innovation problem.
Based on user observation, research and insights with the aim of finding innovative ways of framing a question
  2. IDEATE - Generating Ideas and understanding user behaviour
Tools to overcome cognitive fixedness. Making the idea generating exercise useful for addressing the problem at hand
  3. Developing the Ideas
Prioritizing ideas, improving them based on insights and rapidly prototyping to explore and test critical questions
  4. Communicating the Value of Innovation To communicate, build relevance and recruit for the idea and solution

Note: Innovation would not be in a sequencial cascade. As the tools of innovation become more familiar, there was be an twists and turns of flow through these different stages are the problem becomes more in focus and less in focus

What are design principles?
